Johnnie White, CEO, Chief Executive Officer, is responsible for the oversight and management of the Society’s business office and executing the directives set by the ASA board of governors and its executive committee. Johnnie is an association professional with more than 27 years serving in a variety of management and leadership roles. Most recently he served as Senior Director of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, where he managed global affairs for the organization and strategic planning, including overseeing a staff of 17 and an annual event with more than 9,000 attendees. In addition, White is an adjunct faculty member of Georgetown University where he instructs graduate students in operations and event management. White holds his M.B.A. from University of Maryland University College and his B.S. in Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland. He is a member of the American Society of Association Executives and the Professional Convention Management Association and has received numerous awards and recognitions for his association work, including being named one of the top 40 Trending Association Innovators by DCA Live in 2017.

Bonny Price, Chief Operations Officer, is responsible for the operations and administration of ASA’s education, membership, credentialing programs. She serves as a senior staff member reporting to the CEO, as staff liaison for the CEIV™ Certification program and as a staff liaison to the Business Valuation Committee. Bonny joined ASA in 2006 as the Director of Membership. Her tenure, educational background and 27 years of work experience provide her with a valuable understanding of ASA’s cross-departmental programs, policies and procedures, as well general association operations and management. She has Bachelor of Arts degree from Union College where she was a member of Psi Chi Honor Society and a member of the Dean’s list for four years. Bonny also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from George Mason University, where she was a member of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society and president of the Student Nurses Association. Bonny also earned a Certificate in Meetings Management from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). Prior to ASA, Bonny worked as a membership retention and marketing manager for the Food Products Association, an events and member services director for the American Association of Exporters and Importers, a development and member services manager for the International Franchise Association and as an association administrator for Smith Bucklin and Associates.

Joy Marshall, Director of Credentialing Services, is responsible for the overall management of ASA's accreditation and reaccreditation services. She has been with ASA for a full decade. Her dedication and commitment were recognized in 2015 with the bestowing of the Society’s Sylvia Wade Olson Award which is given to an employee demonstrating exemplary member service and leadership in building cooperative, helpful working relations. She also was instrumental in launching a new zero-waste recycling program at ASA’s headquarters in Reston, VA. Justin Kane, Chapter and Government Relations Specialist, is responsible to serve as the staff liaison between ASA Chapters and Headquarters. In addition, he will assist with advocacy-based government relations projects and the tracking of federal and state legislation that concerns appraisers’ interests. In May of 2019, he graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science with an emphasis on national security and a minor in meteorology. Prior to joining ASA, he worked in Davenport, Iowa on John Delaney’s 2020 Presidential campaign as his eastern Iowa director. He had a wide range of responsibilities such as giving speeches at local community events, traveling throughout the United States to lead his early state ballot access initiative, and managing the Congressman’s two month Iowa bus tour.
